NDA Hasn’t Fixed Date For Screening Test – Academy Spokesman

By Eseoghene Emuke

The Nigerian Defence Academy has debunked reports that it has fixed May 14 to 23, 2019 for entrance examination into the academy.

It affirmed that no date has been fixed for screening test into the academy, saying that the date being circulated particularly on the social media was aimed to mislead applicants and members of the general public.

According to a statement issued on Thursday by the Public Relations Officer of the Academy, Major Abubakar Abdullahi said it will communicate date through the traditional media and its website once it is slated.

“The attention of the  Nigerian Defence Academy has been drawn to statement circulating on social media purportedly to have been released by the Academy Public Relations Department stating that entrance examination  will start on May 14, 2019 and end May 23, 2019.

“We wish to bring to the notice of the general public that the  above information was fictitious, mischievous and  deliberate attempt to mislead unsuspecting applicants concerning the test.

“The Academy wishes to state unequivocally that the official date for the Screening Test will be announce in due course through the Academy website www.nda.edu.ng and on main stream media”, Major Abdullahi added in the statement.

The statement appealed to the general public to be cautious in disseminating unverified information on social media as they could be misleading.
