MOSIEND Inaugurates Abulu As Western Zone Chairman In Bomadi.


 

 

Fast-rising Ijaw activist, Comrade Graham Abulu, has been inaugurated as the Western Zone chairman of the Movement Survival of Ijaw Ethnic Nationality in the Niger Delta (MOSIEND) comprising Delta, Edo and Ondo States.

 

The Abulu-led Executive and Elders Council of MOSIEND was inaugurated at a ceremony held in Bomadi in Delta State by the national leadership of the group.

 

MOSIEND is a pan Ijaw group established to foster unity and promotion of Izon ethnic nationality in Nigeria.

 

Also inaugurated alongside Abulu into the Western zone of the group are;  Kenneth Amaebikemienmene Johnny (Vice Chairman), Godstime Daniel Ayetan  (Secretary), Jesse Ese (Publicity Secretary), Boyelayefa Ambakederemo, Perekeme Emeze (CSO), Darlington Agbe (Mobilization), Diyerin Wordu (Asst. Secretary), Dennis Eyerindideke (Treasurer), Peter Atima (Welfare) and Gbelele Tam.

 

Members of the elders Council includes Comrade Razak William Amatoru emerge as the elders Council Chairman on Western zone. Chief Ben Bowei, and Kemenanabo Ebi Presley.

The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by Comrade Thompson Robert Fuoye (National Deputy President),  Comrade Tonbra Kasikoro Kiloprite (Woman leader), Barrister Charles Omosuku, Barrister Afoegba Goody (National legal Adviser).

 

Speaking at the inauguration, the National Spokesman of MOSIEND, Comrade Omosuku charged them to be resilient in their duties and uphold the tenets of the struggle for better Ijaw Nation.

 

Comrade Abulu in his acceptance speech promised to build on the legacies laid by his predecessors, saying he would show capacity in positioning the activities of the body in the Zone.
