Delta Female Journalist Fetes Orphans On Birthday In Ughelli

A Delta State-based female journalist, Success Okuchemiya, on Friday celebrated her birthday with children at an orphanage home in Ughelli.

Okuchemiya, who clocked plus September 15, said she used the event to speak and encouraged the children that there’s greatness in them despite their present circumstances.

The journalist told the children to brace up to life challenges, assuring them that they will succeed with dedication, consistency and fear of God.

Okuchemiya, who had just been employed as a lecturer at the Federal Polytechnic, Orogun, added that celebrating the day with the children brought her joy and the need to remain focus in life.

While thanking God for keeping her alive, the mass communication scholar called on well-meaning Nigerians to always remember those in orphanage homes, hospitals and homeless by showing them unconditional love and respect.

According to her, “Being alive is a golden opportunity to fulfill God’s Purpose to humanity and most importantly to make heaven when our Journey on earth is over.

“Whether you have earthly parents or not, the most important thing is that God almighty is your heavenly Father, see every good parent that comes across your way as your earthly parents and pray to God to give you the grace to fulfill destiny.

“Some time in my life when I feel like giving up, the question that comes to my mind is, who feeds the birds in the sky? That alone is enough motivation to push harder.

“Also note that there are thousands of destinies tied to yours, so strive not to fail.”
