NDDC Board: Ex-Udu Council Chairman Hails Chiedu Ebie, Monday Igbuya’s Appointments

Chief Solomon Kpomah, a former chairman of Udu Local Government Council in Delta State, has congratulated Mr. Chiedu Ebie and Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya on their appointments as Board Chairman and Delta Representative on the new Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

The former Udu Council boss, who is also a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta, commended President Bola Tinubu of the choice of the duo and others into the new NDDC management board.

In a statement he issued on Thursday in Effurun, Kpomah noted that Ebie, a former Secretary to Delta State Government, has the capacity and experience to reposition the Commission to deliver on its mandate for the benefit of the people of the Niger Delta.

According to him, NDDC, under Ebie board leadership, would experience paradigm shift her development focus and help deliver President Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Agenda’ to the oil-rich Niger Delta.

On Rt. Hon. Igbuya’s appointment, Kpomah posited that as Representative of Delta State on the management board, he was convinced that NDDC projects in the state would be speedily completed to specification.

Kpomah added that Igbuya, a former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, is a team player and would ensure that all ethnic nationalities in the state feel the impact of NDDC through project siting and execution.

The former Udu council boss, who is also the chairman of Warri branch of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC), appealed to the people of the Niger Delta and Deltans to support Ebie-led Board and Igbuya for the development of the region.
