The founding leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor has hailed the immediate past Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege on his diamond jubilee birthday.
Emerhor, a renowned banker and businessman, eulogised Senator Omo-Agege as a man who served Nigeria meritoriously as the senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District and Deputy President of the Senate during the 8th and 9th National Assembly.
In a statement on Thursday signed by his Media Assistant, Aghogho Orotomah, Emerhor, who was the first Nigerian politician to contest elective position on the APC platform, noted 2023 Delta APC governorship candidate had made monumental achievements both in private and public life.
Congratulating Senator Omo-Agege on his 60th birthday, Emerhor said, “Senator Agege’s achievements at 60 are monumental, having served Delta State in various executive capacities and having served Delta Central Senatorial District, Delta State and Nigeria outstandingly during the 8th and 9th Senate dispensations.
“Moreover, his tenure as the Deputy President of the Senate of Nigeria was record-breaking in terms of development and improvements of his constituents and Nigeria as a whole.”
While wishing Senator Omo-Agege God’s continued grace, favour, long life and prosperity, Olorogun Emerhor urged all Deltans to continue to pray and support him as they await his swearing-in as their duly elected Governor.
