The Election Petition Tribunal has sacked Osun State governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, as the winner of last year’s governorship election in the state.
The Tribunal chaired by Justice Tertse Kume ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to immediately withdraw the Certificate of Return from him.
In a majority judgement of two judges against one, the tribunal to issue Certificate of Return to Adegboyega Oyetola as the winner of the election.
The tribunal, while sacking Adeleke, who is an uncle to Africa’s music star, Davido, premised her judgement on overvoting in some polling units across the State.
