The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, says his administration will address the multifaceted challenges currently confronting Nigeria when elected as President in next month’s presidential election.
The governorship candidate of the party in Delta State, Engr. Goodnews Agbi, has also highlighted his plans for the people of the state, saying he was the most suited character to succeed Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as next governor of the state.
The duo of Kwankwaso and Agbi spoke in Asaba when chieftains and mammoth NNPP supporters welcomed the presidential campaign train of the party to Delta State on Wednesday.
Kwankwaso and Agbi, who also led party leaders to the palace of Asagba of Asaba, Obi (Prof.) Chike Edozien, said NNPP will run an inclusive government both at the Federal and the State level.
The NNPP presidential candidate emphasised that the party was commitment to improving the lives of citizens through job creation, education, and infrastructure development.
Kwankwaso stressed that Nigeria needs strong leadership which is eager to reposition the country for socioeconomic growth and development.
At the palace of the Asagba of Asaba, Kwankwaso told the revered monarch and chiefs that his administration will fix myriad of problems currently bedevilling the country.
Kwankwaso appealed to the people of Delta to support him and vote all party’s candidates, stressing that he will emerged as the next president of Nigeria.
Also speaking, the governorship candidate of NNPP in Delta, Dr. Agbi told the cheering crowd that the party will form the new government in the state and urged Deltans to massively vote for Kwankwaso and all NNPP candidates in the elections.
Agbi posited that his administration will develop the state and its human capacity to ensure that the state is ranked as one of the best business destinations in Africa.
In his remark, Asagba of Asagba commended Kwankwaso, Agbi, and NNPP for the visit, noting that their campaign manifestos is focus on the well-being of Nigerians and assured them of his support.
Kwankwaso and Agbi during the rally also visited Ogwashi- Uku where they inaugurated the campaign office of Oche, the house of Reps candidate of the NNPP for Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency.
