Senate Deputy Minority Leader Dumps PDP, Joins APC

Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, Senate Deputy Minority Leader, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC)

He defected to the ruling party at Aso Villa, Abuja, where he was received into the APC by President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday.

Bwacha was accompanied to Aso Villa by APC Caretaker Chairman and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni.

The lawmaker currently represents Taraba South Senatorial District of Taraba State.

He was first elected to the Senate in 2011 and was reelected in 2015 general elections on the PDP platform.
