Buhari Pays Tribute To Prophet TB Joshua, Says Cleric Will Be Missed

President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday described the death of the senior pastor and founder The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Temitope Balogun, popularly known as Prophet TB Joshua as a great loss to the country and the world over.

The President, who commiserated with the family and members of SCOAN, said the televangelist will be greatly missed.

In a statement by the President’s Special Adviser (Media and Publicity), Femi Adesina, noted that the renowned cleric will be missed by his followers all over the world not only for his spiritual contributions, but for touching many lives through philanthropic gestures.

“President Buhari urges Pastor Joshua’s followers to take solace in the knowledge that life is not measured and defined by chronological longevity but by enduring legacies and lives touched positively”, the statement said.

Buhari further condoled with the government and people of Ondo State and prays that God Almighty will accept the soul of the departed pastor.

Prophet TB Joshua, 57, died on Saturday after a church service in Lagos few days to his 58 years birthday on June 12.

The Church confirmed the passage of the popular pastor on Sunday morning in a statement.
