Rainstorm Destroys Multi-Million Naira 911 Resort Owned By Ayiri In Delta

The multi-million naira 911 Resort at Akpakpa-Ajudiabo in Ugborodo in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State has been destroyed by rainstorm.

The world-class tourism and hospitality haven was brought down during Thursday’s early morning downpour accompanied with blazing winds.

911 Resort is owned by popular politician and Ologbotsere (Prime Minister) of Warri, Chief Ayiri Emami.

Community sources said the resort built along the Escravos River in the Niger Delta creeks was almost completely ruined during the rainstorm.

The club wing of the resort was said to have been mostly affected by the development.

One of the sources noted that rain also wreaked havoc on private buildings in the area.

Another source said the resort had just been recently renovated to maintain its world-class standard.

The tourism home had played host to notable Nigerian celebrities and top politicians.

The owner of the resort, Chief Ayiri when contacted, confirmed the incident but said the level of damage was still being assessed.

Ayiri stated that the level of damage was huge.
