Oghara Poly Students Win Broadcast Competition

Three students of the Delta state Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara, have emerged winners of the broadcast competition organized for students currently undergoing their Industrial Training at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Warri Correspondents Chapel.

The competition was part of activities climaxing their three months industrial attachment at the Warri NUJ where they have been practically groomed in report writing, news gathering and new presentation by members of the union who reports for various media organization.

Students of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro, also participated in the broadcast contest.

For their excellent presentation, three of the students who represented Oghara Poly, were honoured by the organisers.

The winners were judged in three categories with Mr. Dele Fasan, South-South Bureau chief of Galaxy Television Lagos, and Lady Ejiro Umukoro, General manager, Mega 89.1FM Warri, being the panel judges.

At the end of the exercise, trio of Oburoh Lebi Scholastica, Udu Ochuko David and Okpako Deborah emerged as Best Female Broadcaster, Best Male Broadcaster and Best Female Broadcast Partner respectively.
