A Delta State Court sitting in Ibusa on Tuesday barred journalists from covering the resumed trail of the suspected killers of late Obi of Ubulu-Uku in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, Obi Akaeze Ofolue III.

Journalists and other interested persons had thronged the court where four of the accused persons in the kidnap and murder of the late monarch was holding.

But just before the commencement of Tuesday’s proceeding, a staff of the court announced that journalists of any sort should go out of the court room and out of hearing.

The journalists were already seated waiting for the presiding judge when the directive was given by the official.
