The Caretaker/National Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed the proposed nationwide membership registration/revalidation exercise slated for Monday January 25.
According to a statement on Saturday issued by the Secretary of the Caretaker/National Convention Planning Committee of the party, Senator John Akpanudoedehe, said members would be notified on a new date.
The party had earlier fixed Monday January 25 for the registration/revalidation of membership.
The National Assembly had earlier Saturday postponed resumption of plenary to enable members elected on the platform of the APC participate in the exercise.

But Senator Akpanudoedehe in the statement, however, did not give reasons for the postponement.
The statement read, “We sincerely apologise on the postponement of the proposed All Progressives Congress party registration which was scheduled to take place on Monday 25th of January, 2021, now put on hold till further notice to be declared by the state chairman.
“We, therefore, implore all members and stakeholders, well-wishers and lovers willing to join our great party to put on hold till directive comes from above. Thanks for your cooperation.”
