Ize-Iyamu said, “The rains showered early this morning but the turnout is impressive. INEC came out quite early with all the materials. They displayed the register on the wall making the accreditation very easy. Card readers are working and they (INEC) have a thermometer to check your temperature.
“In our own, we supplied facemasks to our people to comply with INEC regulations. I am also happy that they brought cubicles to ensure that people vote in privacy without anybody knowing who you voted for.
“They also have adequate policemen. We have two policemen per unit. That has really helped. The crowd has been orderly and peaceful. If what is happening here is what is happening in other places, I commend INEC and the security agencies.
“I am happy I have been able to vote. I am very confident of winning.”
