The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control has disclosed that 74 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from various isolation centres in the country after testing negative to the virus.
It stated that with the new number, a total of 481 patients who have fully recovered, have been discharged for the virus.
This is even as Nigeria on Tuesday recorded 148 new cases bringing the total tally in the country to 2950.
NCDC stated this on its verified Twitter handle late Tuesday night while updating its record on the outbreak of the disease in the country.
According to the update, the country recorded five deaths on Tuesday bringing the fatality rate to 98.
The new cases were recorded in the FCT Abuja and 16 states including Lagos, Kano, Edo and Katsina.
