A former National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has declared his intention to contest the 2023 presidential election.
This is coming barely a month after the former Edo State governor also declared for the Edo North Senatorial District seat on the platform of APC into the National Assembly.
He was one of the party chieftains who attended the presidential declaration of the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
The former NLC chairman’s declaration came barely an hour after Ekiti State governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, announced that he had joined the presidential race.
Oshiomhole made his declaration at the Cyprian Ekwensi House, Abuja, on Wednesday.
He said he would fix all sectors of the country and ensure a stable academic calendar of federal government universities by ending frequent strike action by ASUU if elected.
