The Ebonyi State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress says all is now set to receive President Muhammadu Buhari and other top APC leaders including the party’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole for the flag-off of the presidential campaign rally in the state on 30th January, 2019.
Chairman of the State Planning Committee for the Presidential Rally, Chief Austin Edeze , who disclosed this on Friday, also boasted that President Buhari and the party will dislodged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the state in the forthcoming general elections.
Speaking at Abakaliki, Chief Edeze said the re-election bid of President and the APC in the state has been sealed and deliver, saying that the people of the South-East would massively vote for Mr. President in the next month’s presidential election.
The APC BoT member of APC called on aggrieved members who dragged the party to court to make a U-Turn and withdraw their cases, and join hands to liberate the state from untold hardship that PDP government has allegedly subjected the people to by winning the 2019 elections at all levels.
According to him, “I make bold to say that Ebonyi state is ready, fully ready to receive the president and we have planned that Ebonyi state will be the most successful of all the presidential rallies that have taken place especially in south east. What Mr President will receive in Ebonyi will be like the grand-finale of his rally.
“Ebonyi people are ready for Mr president, Ebonyi people are ready to vote Mr president, Mohammed Buhari because we are all living witnesses to the very good work of Mr president you can now see that 2nd Niger bridge is not a news again it is now real added to a lot of infrastructural developments that are going on in the whole of south east.
“Mr President is already a president comes February 16, 2019 and the success will start in Ebonyi state here. Ebonyi state is APC state. I will say that it was by stroke of chance that we had PDP in leadership and all we are waiting for now is March 2nd 2019 election to take over and sanitize this state”.
Edeze said projects of Federal government is scattered everywhere in the state and south east by extension that National Technology Incubation centre is ongoing at Ndiogbu Ndieze, Izzi local government courtesy of APC government and such research centre will provide job for thousands of Ebonyi youth and women.
He commended the federal government for the recently flag off of Erosion control and road project at Ekwetekwe- Ogbunyagu community, in Umuezokah Ezza north, Ebonyi state
The APC chieftain who doubled as state coordinator Buhari Support Organizations, (BSO) and the board chairman Federal Poly Ado Ekiti, Ekiti state, accused the current leadership in the state of deceit and said APC government is coming to introduce government that will touch the lives of the people especially rural dwellers.
“Ebonyi people want government that will touch the lives of the people not to develop the capital city and abounded the rural areas. Ebonyi School system has crashed the current government is not ready to change the life of the people.
“When you extend electrification to rural areas, it increases small scale business and that is the type of government APC will bring, government that will touch the lives of the people not to deceive the people”.
